I cannot burn to DVD even though I upgraded
my trial version of neoSLIDESHOW to the full version.
Make sure that you have the Microsoft DirectX9 installed.
You can go to this link for the latest version, http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx

When I put my MP3 audio file into neoSLIDESHOW,
it disappears when I save and exit the program?
This is due to a file-naming convention. You should only
use alpha-numeric characters for the file name.

How do I adjust the volume and fade?
The line you see when looking at the audio file in neoSLIDESHOW
is the volume control. We have found that most MP3 files
that are sampled in higher quality audio work best at
115% volume.

Whenever I end the video with sound, the sound
'pops' and the volume goes up for a moment before fading
away again. How do I avoid this?
We have found that if you add one more screen to your
video (a blank one will do). And it'll end without a 'pop'.
You will want it to stay on for 3 or more seconds and
use this time to add 'fade out' time to your audio file.
We'd recommend approximately 4 to 5 seconds of time.

It takes FOREVER to view the audio files or
to view thumbnail pictures that I want to place in my
video. Is there an easier way? We always
recommend creating numerous folders labeled by subject
specifically for your project. For example, create a folder
for a specific subject like "Beach Holiday"
and store the pictures you want to use in your slideshow
on that subject there. For other subjects, even those
used in the same slideshow disc, create other folders
for each subject, like "Ski Vacation" and "Grandma's
House". This will keep the files you need available
for speedy viewing and insertion into your slideshow .
You can also place audio files in a separate folder and
keep another audio folder for 'works in progress'.

What's the best way to save my projects?
It's a good idea to save your project incrementally.
When making major changes save the project and also save
a backup of the file by amending the name with the date
or time.
