What is DVD+RW VR?
DVD+RW VR support provides the user with VHS VCR type capabilities
for DVD generation and update on the PC. The whole idea behind
DVD+RW VR is that you can create DVDs that can be re-edited
"time and time again".
Any disc generated by a product (hardware or software) that
follows the DVD+RW VR Video Format v. 1.1 support specification
is updateable by another product (hardware or software) that
follows the +RW VR Video Format v. 1.1 support specification.
So for example, if you have a DVD+RW video disc that was
created using neoDVD or a 3rd party application, you can load
the finished disc into neoDVD, add/delete video clips, rearrange
the contents of the disc, and then recreate the DVD. neoDVD
allows you to do this by maximizing disc usage through re-write
and reuse of disc space.

My neoDVD-VR shows 2 Panasonic Drive when
I only have one, which one do I select?
Installing the Panasonic software driver will make your
DVD-RAM burner appears like if it was a Hard Disc drive and
an optical drive. So you will see a Hard Disc Drive icon and
a burner icon in Windows explorer, while in fact these two
icons represent the same device. Depending on your system
configuration you may want to use one or the other representation
when using neoDVD. Most recording application have problem
recognizing the proprietary dual drive icon. Selecting proper
drive selection should work properly in neoDVD-VR while other
will not. You can also remove the Panasonic/Matsushita DVD-RAM
driver software which then it will display one drive for selection.
